Corporate social responsibility continues to play an important role in how companies create meaningful impact beyond the workplace. In Davao, employees of TP in the Philippines recently came together to support children battling cancer through a community-driven fun run organized by the House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer, Inc.

The initiative reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and social impact, particularly in the areas where it operates.

TP Employees Join Charity Run for Children with Cancer

Around 30 employees from TP’s Davao sites participated in “A Run for Kids with Cancer,” a five-kilometer fun run held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Davao.

The event was organized by the House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children undergoing cancer treatment and their families.

By participating in the activity, TP employees demonstrated solidarity with the cause while helping raise awareness and support for children facing serious health challenges.

TP Reinforces Commitment to Community Impact

Rachel Cacabelos, Vice President for Human Resources of TP in the Philippines, highlighted the importance of initiatives that allow employees and organizations to contribute to causes that create positive social impact.

Cacabelos shared that TP believes in creating opportunities not only for its employees but also for the communities it serves. She explained that supporting programs like “A Run for Kids with Cancer” enables the organization to unite behind a greater purpose while bringing hope and assistance to children and families in need.

The company’s participation also reflects its broader mission of becoming a force for good within local communities through volunteerism, outreach, and social responsibility initiatives.

Continued Support Through the Citizen of the World Foundation

Earlier this year, TP in the Philippines also extended support to the House of Hope Foundation through its corporate social responsibility arm, the Citizen of the World (COTW) Foundation.

The support formed part of activities connected to the launch of TP’s Davao Uprise site, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to sustainable community engagement in Davao and other locations across the country.

These efforts align with TP’s wider global initiatives focused on education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.

TP Continues Expanding Global Digital Business Services

TP in the Philippines is part of the global TP Group, a leading provider of digital business services operating in nearly 100 countries worldwide.

The company combines advanced technology with human empathy to deliver customer care, digital transformation, and back-office solutions for some of the world’s largest brands.

Its service portfolio includes customer support, operations consulting, localization, visa and consular services, recruitment process outsourcing, and AI-powered digital solutions.

Beyond business operations, TP continues to strengthen its role in supporting communities, employees, and environmental initiatives through purpose-driven programs and partnerships.

Programs like “A Run for Kids with Cancer” demonstrate how employee volunteerism and corporate partnerships can make a meaningful difference in local communities.

For TP in the Philippines, supporting causes that uplift vulnerable communities remains an important part of its commitment to creating positive and lasting impact.
